Winston Gold is required to obtain a permit for its underground operations in order to proceed with the Phase II program. Known as a Montana Small Miners Exclusion Statement (“SMES”) the SMES allows for a maximum surface disturbance of 5 acres but has no upper limit on the amount of material mined per year.

Additional permits for water discharge and reclamation will be required prior to Phase II. Winston’s management is confident that its prior experience with other permit applications and mining operations in the State will allow facilitate obtaining these permits in a timely manner.
